Project Description:
Do You Know? Was a local broadcast spot meant to promote the Dallas Morning News.
Challenges & Solutions:
In this project, my primary role was that of an assistant editor. Beyond the usual responsibilities associated with setting up a project, I was also tasked with tracking the on-screen graphics. Initially envisioned as a single piece, the project eventually expanded into a series of four spots. As the project progressed, I transitioned from assistant editor to lead editor, taking on the responsibility of refining all edits to ensure they were ready for broadcast. This shift allowed me to have a more significant impact on the final outcome of each spot.
Techniques & Tools Used:
Adobe Premiere Pro was used throughout all iterations of the edit. Graphics were tracked in using Adobe Premier. The final audio mix was completed at Dallas Audio Post.
